I've been in the coffee game for 12 years and undoubtedly made terrible coffee for the first few years until landing a job at the infamous 'Go-Bang Espresso'(RIP), under the leadership of Emma McDougall(NZSCA). It's here that I learnt about specialty and where my journey for excellent coffee truly began. Fast forward a few years and I'm now the guy everyone calls when their coffee doesn't taste right or they need advice on how to improve their skills. Started at Peeps in 2019 and it's been dope to be part of a mission driven organisation that really is "walking the talking" in its promise to better the lives of coffee farming communities in origin. I hope to see an Aotearoa that takes a stand against unfair & unsustainable coffee partnerships and strives to have every cup uplift farming nations.

I’ve been impassioned by good food and drink since I was old enough to peek over the countertop to watch my mom cook. Now in my 30’s and required to fend for myself to avoid starvation; I love working with coffee because it’s fascinating, delicious, and as a Wellingtonian it’s also a fundamental human right.
