Layo Teraga, part of The Oromia Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union (OCFCU) in Ethiopia’s Sidama region, promotes community empowerment and sustainable coffee farming. They support women in establishing diverse income streams, fostering gender equality and reducing reliance on coffee. Their initiatives include education-based projects benefiting 30,000 people and scholarships for co-op members’ children, ensuring educational continuity.
