Mexico San Fernando cooperative

San Fernando (Unión de Ejidos y Comunidades San Fernando) is an organization of small coffee growers in the state of Chiapas in southern Mexico.

The San Fernando co-op’s main goal is to improve the living conditions of its members and their communities based on conscientious work and prioritizing fair trade conditions.

Within this goal is prominent advocacy for women’s health. The San Fernando co-op financially supports the training of local midwives—as maternal mortality rates are high among San Fernando’s indigenous communities.

When you buy a bag of Mexico San Fernando coffee, you help to support the communities of San Fernando, and of course, you get to enjoy the most delicious chocolate brew🍫☕️
