Congo Kawa Kivu

We've roasted this Congo for filter to showcase its delicate and juicy flavours. With an initial hit of mandarin and crisp green apple, beautiful undertones of peach and pear and a clean finish of maple sweetness this is a delight to drink.

This coffee comes from the small farmer fair trade coffee cooperative, SOPACDI, who promote 'Coffee for Solidarity' to contribute to the improvement of the living conditions of its members. Founded in 2003 with 11,600 members, SOPACDI's coffee is grown on the volcanic soil between Lake Kivu and the mountain range of Mitumba.
